Home Based Job or a Regular Job
Right now, I have an going on dilemma. As you all know that I am dreamer. I have plans and priorities but of course it is always hard to start. There are these times, I don't know what to do. I know that it is not popular here in the Philippines but hello the other countries are doing it. They are having this online home based jobs. I am so fed up with a regular night job, as a call center agent. I mean, it wasn't so hard and it is good with benefits and all that but then if you are working and you are losing your heart on it I think the best thing to do is to quit your job and goes to where your heart like to goes. What I want right now is a home based job that will not give much stress and will allow to focus on my studies. It is supposedly an easy decision but of course there is always people who will not approve it. They will say negative things because they are not used to it. And the thing is I will be annualized this coming March and of course the leaves are there and the account was so promising and my officemates are wonderful but the feeling of being on a golden handcuff is not much a different of having an ordinary handcuff.

I admire and respect all the people in the call center industry but I really believe that is not for me. So there, I have decided to go and work at home. Whether they like or they have to like it. I think 1 year and 9mos is more than enough time for me to realize that being in call center industry isn't really my field. But I am forever grateful that I've become of this industry. I think it is time to make my big dreams come true.!
If you don't want your current job. I think you should prioritize you're study first so you can get good grades on your degree and get a better job.
ReplyDeleteI believe home based jobs are not sustainable. It's very hard to earn enough on an online job and they're also risky. There are a lot of scams which might put you're valuable time to waste.
My honest advise for you is not to quit your call-center job. Put the money you earn on banks and blue-chip stocks. Once you saved enough, maybe you can even start a part time business. Because you have a regular job/source of income, banks will allow you to borrow capital for your part-time business.
so how's your online job? i've been planning to do this since last year but i do not know exactly how to start; where to apply; how to create a resume for this kind of job? last year, i planned to enroll in a crash course conducted by Jomar Hilario but due budget constraint that plan didn't push through. would you care to share your experience? thanks :)
