Get enough of New Year's Resolutions? Make it your DREAMS.

English: Two New Year's Resolutions postcards
Image via Wikipedia
When I was young I always have my New Year's Resolution list and wanna guess? Yes, it is the same as last year's list but of course in a different paper, in different words. Knowing that these things are being repeated I've decided to writing one. But I changed it, in my community, the Feast, a Catholic Prayer Meeting we have this Novena to God's Love that we write our dreams and pray for those every single day the moment I wake. It became my routine and everyday I keep on asking, I keep on seeking, I keep on finding and I keep on knocking on His door. And little by little I became more focus on what I really want. I've became more passionate and more diligent and more aggressive in wanting to achieve. Actions are being done little by little, I can see a "pathway" towards to my Dreams and I know I can feel it I am getting, I am on the right track because God is guiding me. Make it a habit, do it for a month continuously and you will be seeing a pathway that will lead to the fulfillment of your dreams. Just keep on praying to God and all your dreams shall come to pass.

2012! A whole new year of Hope.

“You have to make mistakes to find out who you aren't. You take the action, and the insight follows: You don't think your way into becoming yourself.”
—  Anne Lamott

Another year had passed and a whole new year have begun. As we all know that before 2011 a lot of natural disasters happened in the Philippines. Typhoon Sendong, who almost washed all of Cagayan De Oro and Iligan City.

The cry of a father losing his daughter in midst of typhoon Sendong

But in the end, still all charity and "bayanihan" reign over this calamity. Not only in the Philippines that water rage had been experience who will forget Japan greatest calamity had faced the tsunami that killed thousands of people in Japan.
from cfnews13.com tsunami in Japan

The world was truly shocked and fear had been all around. But in spite of fear, helped was poured out all over the world. Prayers had been passed throughout the whole world and it is widely evident in all the social networking sites. Yes, we've been through a lot. I, myself lost my only dad due to hypertension. Even if we shed a million tears and experience a lot of heartaches and losing lives still it's a brand new year. I am very much looking for this 2012.
A person without hope can only live for 4 seconds.
I had my own sets of mistakes but I know I will manage to learn from them. I am taking charge of my life right now. Start the new year right by giving all thanks and glory to God. Ask for guidance and wisdom. Seek mentors to guide me in investing in stocks and building businesses. Create more passive income. Those are my goals for this year. I've experienced to have a Christmas and New Year's eve at work and this year I will not allow that to happened again. I want to be with my family and I want to help more those in need. I am praying that the same thing will happen to you as well. Let's take charge of our lives and hope the best for 2012. God be with us.

Offer everything up to God for He in charge of everything. And with Him NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2: It all ends here!

http://www.flickr.com/photos/lanair/5882388344/sizes/l/in/photostream/

I am a Harry Potter fan for a long time. I've finished the whole series in two weeks years and eons ago and now that it comes to the end of the series it saddens me. Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Alan RIckman and the whole cast of Harry Potter from Sorcerer's Stone, to Chamber of Secrets, to Prisoner of Azkaban, to Goblet of Fire, to Order of the Phoenix, to Half blood Prince and lastly The Deathly Hallows Parts 1 & 2, I will truly miss. These people gave a wonderful visual of Hogwarts and the magical world and life of Harry Potter. Every time I read and re-read Harry Potter and watch the movies of HP it never fails to bring me to the magical world most especially in Harry's adventure but among the seven series of Harry Potter is its last sequence the, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, I could go on and tell the whole story of it the two part movie was just a gist of the whole novel.

It amaze me how Harry find and destroy Lord Voldemort's horcruxes, these are things wherein he place and hid a part of his soul in order for him to have immortality and the most amazing of all is Harry is his horcrux and when Harry died, it destroys Voldemort's horcrux in Harry's body so Harry came back to life. I also like the part of where Harry and his friends save Hogwarts from Voldemort's army. I also acknowledge professor Severus Snape for I thought all throughout the series that he is Harry's number enemy but I'm so totally wrong, he is Harry's savior and he trained and protect Harry so well. Also one the best part of Deathly Hallows is knowing the 3 Deathly Hallows, three things that can conquer death the Philosopher's stone which Dumbledore destroyed in HP 1, then the elder wand which is Dumbledore's wand and eventually became Harry's when he defeat Malfoy and lastly the Cloak of Invisibility which Harry's father gave to him and Harry is been using it in his whole stay in Hogwarts. I love those parts and I totally give vow to JK Rowling's imagination that she come out with this kind of novel and series.

She's amazing and also all the directors of Harry Potter from Chris Columbus directs Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and Chamber of Secrets, to Alfonso CuarĂ³n who directs Harry Potter and Prisoner of Azkaban, to Mike Newell who directs Harry Potter and Goblet of Fire and to David Yates who directs of the last four Harry Potter: Order of the Phoenix, Half-blood Prince and Deathly Hallows part 1 and 2; around of applause to all of them for they make my Harry Potter experience so magical and surreal.

It might be the end of Harry Potter story like any other stories that come to an end but forever Harry Potter will ever live to my heart. Like Harry, I will Finish Strong in my struggles on my own life. I will be a victor over  my own Voldemort, it may be a tough road like Harry's but I know I will make it as long as I have my friends and family and of course my Beloved One Above. I may not have a magical wand but I do have a magical hand and will lead to pray and worship the Lord of all, my Creator and Savior. I do hope everyone had their wonderful and magical experience of Harry Potter! Long live Harry! <3

Marry Your Daughter by Brian Mcknight

I'm just 20 years old and I never had a boyfriend but as a hopeless romantic girl I'm still hoping that someday a godly man will ask my hand from my father. I know that it is a moment that most women like. Yes we may say that it is impractical and so traditional, there are live-ins or domestic partnership but still I know that every girl dreams to wear a white wedding dress walk into the aisle where everyone eyes' are focused on her. And at the altar there goes her very soon husband-to-be and she walks walks with her father and mother and when they got in the altar the father will hand-over the girl into her husband and everything is history. I don't want to be get married as of the moment 'cause God completes me and He has the right man for me if I wait on His perfect time. I'll lift everything to God and He's in-charge of my love life while I am making myself the best wife for my best well suit husband-to-be. :)

Smile for the Day
Have you ever considered asking the tooth fairy for a donation? That's exactly what Audry Liles did while participating in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's School & Youth Program.- Pennies for Patients.
When I heard about this, it reminded me just how powerful children can be. I'm enclosing the note sent to us from Jennifer Liles, Audrey's Mom.

This is the 2nd year my daughter has participated in 'Pennies for Patients' at her elementary school, Piney Point Elementary School, Tall Timbers, MD. Today she brought home the information and emptied her piggy bank to fill up the box for the LLS program. My daughter just turned seven and is in the 1st grade.
After dinner she asked me for a blank piece of paper to write a letter the tooth fairy and asked me not to look. When she got done this is what she had written:
(I have not edited grammar or spelling)
Dear tooth fairy we are having a thing at school called Make change beat cancer. We have to send money to the school and donate to other people that don't have the money to buy the medicine for there sick kids. So I was thinking you could come to my house tonight and leave me money so I can bring it to school.
Love, Audrey Liles
This made my heart melt and I really felt the need to share it with you. Thank you, Jennifer Likes (Audrey's Mom).

We're always amazed at the impact children are making on the lives of patients with cancer. This year alone, more than 15 million students raised $26 million through our School & Youth Programs to help beat cancer. We are grateful for people like Audrey. her mom Jennifer, and for all tooth fairies. Your support makes a difference.

The Feast: God's Abundance Flowing In

I am a Catholic. I used to think that Catholic maybe one of the most boring religion of all. And that's why many Catholics being converted to other religion. They're like searching God all their life and suddenly found it with other sects. I am not against other sects, they are great in their own ways. But my point is to those other catholics out their that don't like the old ways, taking naps during the first, second and gospel reading and sleeping during homily. I invite to attend the Feast. It is a catholic community which celebrates God's love with worship, talks from powerful speakers and you are able to celebrate the Holy Mass together with your loving catholic community.

Here is here is the video of PICC Feast, I suggest you come personally and experience it yourself! But you can watch the video to have an idea of what is happening the Feast. Enjoy. Be bless. Be love. Be God's. :))

Beware: Feast is a community of "SINNERS being clothed of God's Love and Forgiveness". I do invite you to attend the feast that is near you, I hope to see you there! I am attending Pasig Feast lead by Bro. Obet Cabrillas: Here are schedules of the Feast all over the country:

Brokenness: Pieces being Stitched

Brokenness: Pieces being Stitched: Part 1
http://www.flickr.com/photos/23961932@N03/2280029544
I have been a God's child since birth. Through the years, I've known Him mostly through songs like a 4-year old kid will sing El Shaddai songs with El Shaddai is the only distinctive lyrics. And then I saw the devotion of my lola (grandmother) to Our Mother of Perpetual, and so when I was in hhigh school I became a member of Youth for Mary and Christ, a marian youth movement who is taking Mary as our own model and with our goal of being a saint. It is so ironic that I who had been God's for years had experienced the deepest pains, but I shouldn't complain, shall I? Isn't Jesus said that "Anyone who wants to follow me, must took up his cross and follow me". But sometimes you can't really help but to question God but suddenly you can feel His presence surrounding you and saying 'it is okay my child I am here' and then you will feel peace. It is like a puzzle piece that each and every pain is a big part to create a whole picture of yourself.

I came from the broken family, believe me that is the least thing that you will want to happen in your family life. Broken relationship with your parents trying to build up a good relationship to your siblings. I could live poor, that is way easier than having a broken family. That's why, I don't know why did the number of broken families grow? Why did the parents, husbands and wives being married and then will separate at the end. Do they know that, that is the worst thing that could ever happen to their family. FA-M-ILY means Father, Mother, I Love You. How can the children feel their love if they are separated? Are they ever sorry to break their child's heart? Are they being too selfish? I understand that in some cases that there is a need for separation. Like for example, battered wife, husband or child. That might need a temporary separation. But not permanent, people can change. They say that family is the basic unit of the society so then if the family is broken so did the society, the state, the country.

But you know what being in the presence of God healed me. He sends angels to love me. My grandmother is there acting as my mother, my aunt is there supporting us financially. I can't asked God for more. I saw God's plan to me. He wants me to be His witness. That even I came from a broken family still live in a life of service to God. With God's goodness I grew up well. I don't have any vices. I have good and real sets of friendship that don't lead me astray. Many children out there are came from a broken family also and I wanted to reach out to them. I wanted to tell them that it is okay to cry to God's shoulders. Alcohol, drugs, nicotine won't help them it will just worsen the feelings. BE GOD'S SERVANT. Be God's warrior. And I am telling you that no matter how heavy burdens might be. HE is Always Under Control. I know, I attest to that truth and I believe, that in some years my whole family will live in our dream house. 'Cause as of the moment God is working, healing is taking place to my family. He makes my mother reconcile with my father's family, so our two families get along together. I am living together with my siblings. My mother and father is visiting us once in a while. Sometimes my mother is sleeping with us, whenever we asked her too. We are getting there, maybe not now, not next year, but I know soon very soon, I will be walking down the stairs and I will see my whole family eating together and we will pray before meals like we used to, telling stories of how God blessed our day. And we will go out every Sundays to the Feast. It is my prayer everyday in my Novena to God's Love. And I ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.

Win Life by simply not Giving Up!

I attended a recollection last April 20, 2011 in Megatrade Hall at SM Megamall. I am so blessed with all the talks of the speakers and one of the highlight of the talk of Fr. Dave Concepcion, he showed this video. A video of Derek Redmond, an athlete, who depicts a story of great love, perseverance and fighting for the one that you really love and want. But what touched me the most is when his father came running towards to him from the crowd ready to support him seeing his child suffering and torment yet kept on running to finish the race. When he held his son, Derek, cried on his shoulder, he even told his son that there is no need to do it but seeing the great desire of Derek to finish his race, his father held him up and they do it together. And the father let go of Derek when they are near the finish line so that Derek can get all the glory. I bet his father was very happy and proud watching his son finish his own race with all his might, despite the pain.

I, myself come to reflect that the Father is like that, He let us finish our race and when trouble pains, when storm strikes and make us fall. He will be there, carrying us, helping us and showing His never fading love for us. All we just have to do is Never Ever Give Up! Winners are winners simply because they do not give up.!

Happy Easter! May you have found yourself closer to God this season. God bless you all! I'll be praying for you.
